PUBLIC SAFETY RECRUITMENT WORKSHOP PLANNED
(8/11/2006) NEW HAVEN – The City of New Haven has begun its first joint police and firefighter recruitment outreach in almost a decade and a half. A recruitment workshop for interested, qualified applicants will be held on Saturday, 19 August, at 10 a.m. at Wexler/Grant School, 55 Foote Street. The event is free and open to the public.

The Public Safety Recruitment Workshop will feature presentations by city police, fire and human resources staff. Topics to be covered include completing the application process, physical agility exams for both Fire Department and Police Department applicants, resources available for preparation for the physical agility exams, and information about Emergency Medical Technician certification.
